During the month of November, we gave thanks for just a few of the many, many gifts we have been given.  Here's a recap of the month:
Nov. 1 - all the Saints
Nov. 2 - for Purgatory
Nov. 3 -  for Falling Leaves
Nov. 4 -  for Fall Skies
Nov. 5 -  for Daylight Savings Time
Nov. 6 - for Faith
Nov. 7 - for Cinnamon
Nov. 8 - for Chrysanthemums
Nov. 9 -  for Bascilicas
Nov. 10 - for Pumpkins
Nov. 11 -  for Pumpkin Crunch
Nov. 12 - for Pumpkin Seeds
Nov. 13 - for Coffee
Nov. 14 - for Cold Weather
Nov. 15 - for St. Albert the Great
Nov. 16 - for St. Margaret of Scotland
Nov. 17 -  for St. Elizabeth of Hungary
Nov. 18 - for Ushers
Nov. 19 - for Warm Clothes
Nov. 20 - for Good Shoes
Nov. 21- for our Roots
Nov. 22 - for Thanksgiving
Nov. 23 - for Leftovers
Nov. 24 - for Hot Water
Nov. 25 - the greatest gift, Jesus Christ
Nov. 26 -  the Ability to Read
Nov. 27 - the Bible
Nov. 28 - for Second Chances
Nov. 29 - Mary, Mother of God and our Mother
Nov. 30 - these and all other gifts!

This doesn't even come close to all of our gifts. We didn't mention family, friends, school, sports, any animals, any plants, the beach, the mountains, snowy hilltops...the list really goes on and on.

Now that November has ended and we are in those couple of days of transitioning into the Advent season, we hope that this practice of "Giving Thanks for 30 Days" has helped you to be more aware of just a few of the gifts you have. As we look towards Christmas and the birth of Christ, we hope that you are more likely to carry a heart of gratitude with you, to notice more of your blessings, and to continue to answer the question - "What do I Give Thanks for today?"
